The MPN Search Engine — Built by a Patient, for Patients
Diagnosed with polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, or myelofibrosis? When you Google an MPN, you get buried in irrelevant results, outdated pages, and confusing medical jargon. MPN Search is different. It searches only the most trusted sources in the MPN world, and it was built by someone who has been in your shoes.
MPN Search pulls results from authority sites including Blood Journal, the MPN Research Foundation, Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson, ClinicalTrials.gov, and more. No noise. No random health blogs. Just the information that matters, delivered in seconds.

Finding Help
Search the MPN World Below:
Type any topic — treatments, symptoms, clinical trials, specific doctors, or drug names. You can use the abbreviations you already know: PV, ET, MF, and MPN. No need to spell out polycythemia vera or essential thrombocythemia every time. MPN Search understands the language of our community.
How MPN Search Works
Unlike a standard Google search, MPN Search is programmed to pull results only from vetted, authoritative MPN sources — peer-reviewed journals, leading cancer centers, clinical trial databases, patient advocacy organizations, and trusted news outlets covering blood cancers. The result is a focused, relevant search experience built specifically for the MPN community.
Try combining keywords to narrow your results. For example, searching “PV interferon itching” or “myelofibrosis clinical trials 2025” will deliver highly targeted information instead of the broad, unfocused results you get from a general search engine.
You can search for multiple keywords and narrow down your results by using a comma or space to separate the words. Searching for “pv, interferon, itching” will deliver targeted results and serve exactly the information you are looking for.
Why This Tool Exists
I built MPN Search because I know what it’s like to sit in front of a computer after a diagnosis and not know where to start. I’ve been an MPN patient for over 16 years and a patient advocate for just as long. The information is out there — but finding it shouldn’t be this hard. This tool is my way of giving every newly diagnosed patient a better starting point than I had.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, a long-time patient, a caregiver, or a healthcare professional, MPN Search helps you find what you need, fast, from sources you can trust.
