Today we celebrate MPN Awareness Day with our community!
We are focused 24/7 on providing valuable resources to patients, caregivers and healthcare providers via our websites PV Reporter and MPN Cancer Connection. MPN Awareness and education is a daily practice rather than a special event.
—> For myself personally, I take great pride in the IMPACT I’ve had on the lives of fellow patients.
I want to share this heartwarming message I received last week from Lorraine in Kissimmee, FL:
I’ve been a PV patient for over 17 years and am now 89 years old. I’ve been lucky; since being on Jakafi since 2018, my condition has stabilized, and I am doing well. Before then, another Oncologist had me on Hydrea which necessitated a phlebotomy EVERY month which left me anemic.
I simply wish to THANK YOU for the excellent articles I read. YOU GIVE ME HOPE THAT MY CANCER CAN/WILL BE CURED!
– Thank you for sharing Lorraine!
Be sure to check out “Our Impact” page on MPN Cancer Connection for more inspiring stories.
If you would like to contribute a few sentences or short paragraph on how our resources have helped you, please send us a note as we will be sharing Impact stories during Blood Cancer Awareness Month in September. Your participation would be greatly appreciated, thank you! Contact us here.
