Our Third Year attending the MPN Heroes Program
by David Wallace
For the past 4 years, Cure Magazine and Incyte Corporation have recognized leaders within the MPN community with the MPN Hero award. The two categories include commitment to the individual or community. I am honored to receive this award for “commitment to the broader MPN community” via my work on PV Reporter and the non profit organization I founded in 2015, MPN Cancer Connection. I have participated in the event regularly. First as a guest in 2014, as a member of the steering committee in 2015 and finally an award winner in 2016!
MPN Hero David Wallace Empowers Patients by Providing Valuable Information Online
Thanks to a loyal following (patients, doctors, caregivers) for their many contributions and strong partnerships that have made this award possible.
The award is shared with all patients who work diligently to make a difference for themselves and others living with Polycythemia Vera (PV), Essential Thrombocythemia (ET) and Myelofibrosis (MF).
