PV Reporter is committed to transparency about how content is created. This page explains where and how we use AI-assisted tools.
How we use AI
AI tools may assist with tasks such as organizing research, drafting initial summaries, improving clarity, checking grammar, or supporting formatting and image creation. AI is a drafting and editing aid, not a source of medical fact.
What stays human
Every article is reviewed, fact-checked, and approved by David Wallace or a qualified member of the PV Reporter editorial team before publication. Medical and scientific claims are checked against primary sources such as peer-reviewed studies, clinical trial registries, and conference abstracts. Where relevant, content is also reviewed by a medical professional.
What AI does not do
AI tools do not independently determine what is published, do not generate medical claims without human verification, and are not used to write patient stories or personal accounts, which reflect real experiences shared by our community.
Accountability
Regardless of what tools are used in the drafting process, PV Reporter takes full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of everything published on this site.
