The following guidance from Dr. Hans Hasselbalch details the advantages and treatment protocol of interferon (IFN-alpha 2) in the treatment of Myeloproliferative Neoplasms. Interferon is increasingly acknowledged for its ability to cause complete hematological remission (in many patients), and to reverse reticulin fibrosis of the bone marrow in PV, ET and early Myelofibrosis.
